I bought my gps about a month ago. I haven't had any "big" problems and I'm actually amazingly
happy with how it functions. When you get it, be mindful that your map versions are going to be
about 3-4 editions out of date. But I used map-share to upload corrections and that is working
out just fine. I was a little hesitant because I was nervous it was a refurbished product, but
I'm really happy with the product and it wasn't a bad buy for the price. I would recommend this
gps to anyone who needs help with directions. Buy it, you'll love it. I do.

This was my first GPS and I am very pleased with it. Even though it was sold as refurbished it came in a sealed box and looks brand new to me. Very easy to use and update, I highly recommend if you are a first time GPS user.

this unit works ok. takes too long to pick up the signal. you punch in the address, does not calculate the route for about 1-2 minutes. not the worst thing in the world, but other units work faster. seems limited in options, especially if you want to avoid a highway. had the Magellan maestro 3200, which broke (my fault, not unit's) and that was a better product. seems to have problem re-calculating route when you go a route different than what unit wants you to do. all in all, a good product, but the flaws are noteworthy.

I bought one of these units, and it was not large enough to store a US map, and I am stuck with a regional map. The Tom Tom support was not responsive, and made several promises it did not keep, in regard to getting a refund on the US map i purchased. I needed to call the support number several times to get it resolved, and had to start from the beginning each time. It began to seem as if they were giving me the runaround and didn't intend to help me at all.
It is 2 months since I've received the unit, and still do not have a useable map, and no resolution yet from support. If product support is important to you, I advise you to look elsewhere.

I have owned this GPS System for 6 months. I have to say this is a great GPS System. With Mapshare, I don't find a need to order a new map. Our roads have been changing, and new subdivisions have been built within the past 6 months, and it has been able to give me an exact address without fail. Recently, due to highway construction, there was a left exit (vs. the normal right exit ramp), It opened 3 weeks ago, and TomTom picked up on it after I updated it.
I update my Satellite location Weekly (or whenever I get to it), so it does require maintenance, but due to satellites moving constantly (and the earth moving), it finds the satellite within seconds of turning it on. I actually found signal in the middle of the Georgia Aquarium's Parking Garage.
I love this GPS. I marked it down a star because it does require lots of maintenance, but it is worth it (and is free!)
