One can't help but admire the quality and workmanship of the Noreve leather case for the TomTom XL/XLS. Once the GPS unit is nestled perfectly inside, all of the ports and connections as well as the speaker are seamlessly accommodated and line up with millimeter precision. The leather has a fine-pebbled grain and looks and feels (and even smells) very sumptuous. The leather flap covering the LCD is padded, offering an additional measure of protection. Magnetic/snap closure works well. Cosmetics are very elegant and understated, with a small "eye" logo facing the front of the case. As this case fits the XL/XLS like a glove, relatively little additional bulk is imposed. I originally purchased a Navigon 4.3 Universal Hard Case, but the zipper required an undue amount of force to open and close. In my opinion, this case is very well worth the fifteen dollar premium it exacts on the purchaser compared to either of the official TomTom cases currently available for the Xl/XLS on Amazon.

The leather case fits the TomTOm XL-S just fine and it has openings for connnections. It has an opening for the screen. I was hoping that it would have a screen protector attached to the case so I wouldn't have to put one on the screen of the TomTom itself. Hope the maker's of these cases will give that some thought - a screen protector that will not reflect light like a mirror which masks the screen but something non-reflective and which will not retain fingerprints! Otherwise, I do like the case.

Sometimes finding the right cases for our gadgets is harder than purchasing the gadget itself! You can spend $20 here, $15 there, and never find the right one. So this time we went for the case that seemed like it would be the most useful and practical, despite its price tag. While this case is more expensive than most others, it was well worth it b/c we only needed to buy this one case - b/c we were extremely happy with it! It fits the unit perfectly, and doesn't add bulk to it, so the unit and the case fit easily in a purse, knapsack, glove box, or briefcase. The kickstand feature is great too.

I needed a case for my TomTom One XLS and after first looking at the OneXL case produced by TomTom I decided to steer clear as it's availability has been scarce and thus the price has been skyrocketing (it's now going for $200 here at Amazon available thru a 3rd party seller!!!) So, I stumbled upon this leather case for the TomTom One XL that is beautifully constructed and fits the unit perfectly, it also has a window for the screen under the outside flap so you can view the screen while the unit is still in the case. There are also cut outs for the power button, and to access the inputs on the bottom of the unit (for charging etc.). In the back of the unit is a "kickstand" so you could have the unit stand upright on a table or even somewhere in your car if you didn't want to use the windshield mount.
Overall, a great case and there are even two slots for additional memory cards on the inside flap. For $40 you won't find a better case for your TomTom One XL or XLS. This case will work with either unit as the only difference between the XL and XLS is the text-to-speech option.
